Who We Are

The Shakedown began in February 2016, when Luke Brumer took over a small stall at the OZCF farmers market in Cape Town having always wanted to create world class food and drink.

What started small, quickly grew into one of Cape Town’s favourite superfood smoothie bars serving fresh, deliciously packed with goodness smoothies and bowls!

While Luke traveled the world in search of inspiration, we needed some big help keeping things going - Enter- Mamma bear -Karin, who’s been the brand C.E-YO since!

Driven by obsession with proper nutrition and seriously good flavour, every smoothie, bowl, and organic hot chocolate is crafted using only the finest, freshest ingredients. Made with lots of love, we promise!
